L.W. came in with a base of her own natural color shade of medium brown mixed with a combination multi-shade blonde highlights and light brown lowlights which we had done around the holidays (pictures below). She was what she called  “dirty dish-water blonde” which basically meant 75% blonde, and the rest shades of brown. To achieve her new look we took a medium warm chocolate brown, coupled with a cool dark blonde, all from the fabulous rusk color line, and applied it all over covering her previous color. This resulted in a nice, neutral dark auburn with subtle tones of brown, gold, and red. After 4 weeks we decided to add some lowlights for depth, and with that applied some medium and dark shades of chocolate brown throughout the top and sides of her head. And voila, there you have the lovely shade you see posted.
